OTTAWA – In a joint statement, international athlete groups and athlete representatives including AthletesCAN, Athleten Deutschland e.V., The Athletics Association, Danish Olympic Committee Athlete Commission, United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Athlete Advisory Council, and Global Athlete call for reforms at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
WADA reforms must be driven by independence, transparency, and accountability. Athletes must have an equal seat at the decision-making tables and their human rights respected.
